In the context of the digital economy era,the digital transformation of the petrochemical industry has become the general trend.The concept of digital factory has given new connotations to "digitization",and more and more digital factory projects have been approved for implementation.To build a digital factory,the first thing that needs to be realized is the digital transformation of the whole process of engineering project construction.Among them,the digital transformation of the design link has received more and more attention and research from design institutes.Compared with conventional engineering projects,in digital factory projects,digital transformation has a significant impact on the process and content of design work,bringing efficient design tools,adding new design content,and putting forward more design requirements.Under such a new situation,design quality management is facing huge challenges.How to keep the design work in an orderly manner,adapt to the changes brought about by digital transformation,ensure that the design quality remains at a reasonable level,and even optimize the design quality is an important issue that needs to be solved in the design quality management.This paper combines the relevant theories and methods of design quality management,takes S Design Institute,a leading enterprise in the field of engineering project design in the petrochemical industry as the main body,and implements the digital transformation practice of petrochemical engineering projects: the digital factory project as the object to carry out research.First,introducing the digital transformation progress and achievements of S Design Institute,expounding the implementation status of the design quality management system of the digital factory project,and summarizing problems existing in the design quality management.Secondly,using the causal analysis diagram to analyze the influence of 4M1 E on the design quality,and carrying out attribution processing for the above-mentioned current problems;judging the influence of each factor on the design quality,and finding out the key factor that should be paid attention to in the design quality management.Thirdly,applying ABC classification management and PDCA cycle management methods to carry out countermeasure research,and proposing improvement measures for the design quality management system based on the 4M1 E.Finally,verifying the research results,data analysis is carried out from the perspective of process and results,the improvement effect of design quality is compared,and the effectiveness of improvement measures is judged.It has been verified that the improvement method proposed is effective and has an optimized effect on the design quality management of digital factory projects.It can solve the practical problems faced by S Design Institute,and also has reference significance for other design professional and design companies.
