As China has entered a stage of high-quality development,the waste of resources and environmental damage brought about by the extensive economic growth mode driven by traditional factors has become an important factor restricting China’s sustainable development.As the country with the largest carbon dioxide emissions in the world,how to achieve sustainable economic development in the context of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" has become a major issue.Coal resourceenriched areas are the key areas for the construction of main functional areas in my country,and are also important areas for realizing the sustainable development of resource-based cities.The carbon emission efficiency and emission reduction potential are clearly defined,and their emission reduction paths are analyzed."The goal is significant.Therefore,this paper selects 13 typical cities in coal resource-enriched areas as the research objects,and conducts research and analysis on their carbon emission efficiency and emission reduction paths.The research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Using the super-efficiency SBM model and carbon emission reduction potential model including undesired output,the carbon emission efficiency and emission reduction potential of 13 cities in coal resourcerich areas from 2007 to 2018 were measured,and their classification was classified.analyze.In general,the carbon emission efficiency level of most cities has gradually decreased;however,although the carbon emission reduction potential fluctuates,the overall upward trend is obvious.In this paper,coal resource enrichment is divided into four categories based on carbon emission efficiency and carbon emission reduction potential.Corresponding suggestions for carbon emission reduction in coal resourcerich areas are not made.(2)On the basis of sorting out the influencing factors and mechanism of carbon emissions,based on the STIRPAT model,empirically calculate the influencing factors of carbon emissions in coal resource-enriched areas,and compare coal resource-enriched areas with metal resource-enriched areas,forest industry Comparative analysis of resource-enriched areas.The conclusion shows that energy intensity is the most important factor affecting carbon emissions,and the population size also significantly promotes carbon emissions,while the effect of industrial structure on carbon emissions is not obvious.Economic growth,urbanization level,and carbon emissions show "positive U-shaped" and "inverted U-shaped" relationships,respectively.(3)On the basis of analyzing the necessity of coordinated emission reduction in coal resource-enriched areas,put forward policy suggestions for the future coordinated emission reduction strategies between governments,government-enterprise,government and society in coal resource-enriched areas.
