| Vietnam, under the influence of China’s "going out" strategy and the Sino-US trade war,has become the preferred destination for companies to move out of China. However, due to the cultural, legal, environmental and other differences between China and Vietnam,Chinese companies in Vietnam cannot directly adopt the management methods of Chinese factories to Vietnam factories, even if the company has successfully bypassed the new market entry barriers.Unexpected disputes occurred during internal operations, which affected the normal operation of production activities.Too many problems in operation, low production efficiency, and difficulty in using human resources are among the common problems encountered by Chinese-invested enterprises in Vietnam.Vietnam MS enterprise is a typical Chinese-invested manufacturing company in Vietnam.MS has more than ten years of carton manufacturing experience in China with strong production ability.Following the trend of its clients moving out of China, the company also invested in Vietnam in 2016.Under the new business environment,Vietnam MS company has been facing many problems. The biggest problems are low production efficiency and repeated prolonged production leadtime, which affects the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction. On the basis of production management and the theory of constraints, this paper takes the production process flow of carton packaging products of Vietnam MS company as the research object, finds out the problems in the production process flow, and formulates targeted optimization schemes. The research content is mainly explained through the following five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, starting from the actual background of the research, proposes the problems to be studied, clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of the research, plans the research content, and introduces the methods used in the thesis research. The second chapter is the research summary and theoretical basis. It conducts a systematic review of the research on production process management and the theory of constraints, mainly from the development status, concepts, basic principles, structural systems and other aspects,so as to understand the latest theories as well as the technological methods that will be used in the research. The third chapter is about the production status and problems of MS enterprise packaging products.First,it introduces the basic information, organizational structure, and operating status of MS enterprise, and then introduces the management structure, management mode, and production process of the production workshop.Through questionnaire analysis, company leaders, business, merchandisers, department managers, and workers participate in the survey to evaluate the adverse effects of the current production process and analyze the reasons. The fourth chapter is the bottleneck process analysis and optimization.According to the problems analyzed in the previous chapter, the research found out the bottleneck factors that affect the production efficiency of carton packaging products, and then applied the theory of constraints and production process related theories to carry out related improvement action, and put it in practice. The fifth chapter is the efficiency comparison before and after the production process improvement.By comparing the production data before and after the implementation of the improvement plan in terms of the production cycle and production efficiency of the product,it is demonstrated whether the optimized process flow determined by the research of this subject can help to improve the production capacity of packaging products, and finally draw conclusions and prospects. This article strives to improve the production process flow of the Vietnam packaging MS company through the use of production management and the theory of constraints, shorten the production cycle of carton packaging products, and improve production efficiency. It is hoped to provide some reference and enlightenment for Vietnam packaging companies and overseas Chinese enterprises to optimize production. |
