Study Bamboo Furniture Design Based On System Design Principle

With the enhancement of people’s awareness of environmental protection,bamboo has attracted more and more attention.Thanks to my country’s rich bamboo resources and advanced bamboo research level,my country’s bamboo industry has reached the international leading level.However,the development of bamboo furniture is still in its infancy,its proportion in the furniture market is still small,and there is a lack of mid-tohigh-end products.This situation is due to the fact that the production system based on traditional materials has been formed for a long time,and it is difficult to transform in the short term.In order to promote the development of bamboo furniture,this study is guided by the system design theory,and takes study furniture as an example to complete a set of bamboo furniture design plans,and now summarizes and expounds the entire research process.This research follows the basic idea of "proposing questions-theoretical research-object analysis-in-depth research-solving problems",and the writing of the thesis is also carried out according to this idea.The question-raising stage corresponds to the introduction part,which mainly determines the overall research direction.In the theoretical research stage,the origin and concept of the system design theory are clarified,and the method of establishing the system model in furniture design is explained.In the object analysis stage,the design analysis of the study bamboo furniture was carried out.First,the basic design process is established,including four steps:establishing the basic frame,perfecting the frame,incorporating material properties and design interpretation.Secondly,the system model of study furniture is established,and a preliminary analysis is done on the requirements of systems at all levels.Third,12 pieces of classic furniture are systematically analyzed by using the system model,and the basic framework of study furniture is determined.Finally,the material characteristics of bamboo are explored.First,the bamboo chip and bamboo laminated lumber are determined as the main materials of the product,and then their characteristics are summarized.Bamboo bending members are selected as the main components of the product,and the production process is carried out.illustrate.In the indepth research stage,the user’s demand points and demand weights are first determined by the AHP,and then the demand information is supplemented by questionnaire surveys.This information will be used as an important basis for design practice.Design practice is carried out in this phase of problem solving.Firstly,the data and information obtained are summarized and analyzed,and the overall design idea is determined.Secondly,the middle two steps of the design process are completed in the form of design sketches,and the product form has begun to take shape.Third,according to the design sketch,the model was modeled and adjusted on the computer,and the design interpretation steps were completed.The final design plan includes three single pieces of armchair,desk and bookcase.Finally,the relevant users are invited to evaluate the plan.The total score of this plan was 3.88 points,and the total score of other furniture was 3.49 points,and the scores of each indicator of this plan were higher than other furniture,so it can be considered that this plan has better user satisfaction,which verifies the value of this design practice.Through the above research,the goal set at the stage of raising the question has been basically achieved.For bamboo furniture,the characteristics of bamboo are summarized,and the production method of bamboo bending components is discussed,and the excellent performance of bamboo is shown in the design practice.For furniture design,based on the principle of system design,this study summarizes a variety of design methods and practical application.Through this research,we hope to make the furniture field pay more attention to bamboo material with excellent performance,promote the development of systematic thinking in the design,and pay attention to the user needs of study furniture.
