The development of bamboo glulam office furniture in China has been limited.The main reason is that the use of bamboo glulam as solid wood has always been a high cost,poor variability,and the overall furniture is too heavy.It is not modern and youthful in appearance and is not accepted by consumers.This article starts with the most commonly used aluminum alloy components in office furniture,combines it with bamboo glulam,draws on the application and design concept of metal furniture,carries out design practice,and obtains the application solution of aluminum alloy components.Bamboo glulam has high hardness,good dimensional stability and high loss resistance,and is mainly in the form of sheet and wire in furniture;aluminum alloy parts have high strength,good elasticity,and can be processed by welding,forging and casting.Bending into any shape,it mainly appears in the form of wire and profile in furniture.When designing and manufacturing office furniture,the corresponding materials can be selected according to the characteristics of different materials and the different parts used.Starting from the aspects of material,color,surface treatment,etc.,the combination of bamboo lamella and aluminum alloy is designed to determine the function,size and style of the furniture,and propose the innovative design of this furniture in terms of materials.And through the finite element analysis,the simulation test of furniture products is carried out.Using ANSYS Workbench software,the finite element model of the desk was established,and its statics and fatigue life were analyzed,and the distribution map of the internal stress and deformation of the desk was obtained.The results show that the stress is mainly concentrated at the connection between the desktop and the tripod,and the maximum stress value is far less than the yield stress of the aluminum alloy,which is 280MPa,indicating that the design of the desk can meet the strength requirements during use.A fatigue life analysis of the desk showed that there were safety issues at the connection between the support beam and the foot frame.The minimum fatigue life is 100,000 times,which is far greater than the 15,000 times specified in the standard.The part with the worst life is the support under the table,and the safety factor at the connection between the support beam and the tripod is 8.04.Finally,taking the designed single-person desk as an example,the design practice of bamboo glulam office furniture using aluminum alloy components was carried out,and good results were obtained. |
