The De’ang people are the descendants of tea,and they are an ethnic that is inseparable from "tea" in current affairs: asking people to do things with tea first, treating guests with etiquette tea talking, eating tea dishes on the table, and tea for sick and cold for medicinal purposes. With the transformation and upgrading of modern people’s daily life, many cultures of the De’ang ethnic group also urgently need to carry out innovative design, combining the De’ang culture with furniture design, which not only condenses the ethnic cultural confidence internally, but also helps to show a unique cultural image externally. This project takes the De’ang cottage of the De’ang ethnic group in Santaishan Township,Mangshi City as the research site, and inherits the traditional culture of the De’ang ethnic group from the perspective of furniture design. To determine the design of tea room furniture based on De’ang sour tea culture as the research theme, first of all, through the field investigation method,we can actually feel the folk culture of the De’ang people,so as to understand the De’ang sour tea making skills, brocade making patterns and architectural furniture bamboo weaving technology, which are three traditional handicrafts with ethnic cultural characteristics. The types of De’ang bamboo furniture are summarized, and the size, structure, style and color of tea room furniture are analyzed, which lays a foundation for the design feasibility study of the combination of De’ang sour tea customs and tea room furniture.Secondly, the design theme has the same points as the content contained in the De’ang culture,so as to find out the feasible path of the De’ang culture in the tea room furniture design theory. Finally, the design practice is carried out from the four aspects of material, color, structure and function, and three sets of schemes are designed based on the theme of De’ang sour tea production process, brocade "lover’s eye" and furniture bamboo weaving technology: the first scheme uses De’ang brocade elements combined with bamboo composite material mortise and tenon to bring new visual experience to the viewer. The second scheme is based on the functional requirements of roasted tea in the sour tea production process, and uses modular design methods to solve its functional requirements. The third scheme is to use "hexagonal hole bamboo weaving" as the design element to make the product style fit the modern tea room environment. This paper discusses the living inheritance scheme of De’ang traditional culture in daily life through design and physical production, verifies the vitality of De’ang ethnic culture through design practice, and analyzes the sustainable use value of bamboo composite materials.Under the premise of firmly forging the sense of the Chinese national community,we will do our part to the continuation of traditional ethnic crafts and the improvement of the stagnation of the benefits of traditional ethnic crafts. |
