In recent years,China’s housing rental industry has ushered in a great prospect for development,the rental housing group’s team is also growing.With the improvement of living standard,the contemporary young people’s demand for quality of life is also higher,and the traditional closet furniture in rental housing can no longer meet the growing demand of modern young renters for closet storage.In this paper,we take this problem as the starting point to explore the improved closet design for rental housing people.(1)To analyze and summarize the characteristics of young renters and their use and demand for closet in rental housing,so as to provide data and theoretical support for subsequent research.(2)On the basis of the above research results and analysis,we summarize the problems that exist in the use of existing closets by young people in rental housing,including single function,unreasonable functional partitioning,poor stability and poor environmental adaptability.In view of these problems,we will make some improvement design considerations,summarize the elements of function,structure and shape that we should focus on when making improvement design,and summarize the improvement design countermeasures and realization methods on this basis,such as improving the problem of unreasonable functional partitioning with the help of modular design,improving the problem of single function with the help of multi-functional design,improving the problem of poor environmental adaptability with the help of detachable and foldable design methods,and improving the problem of poor environmental adaptability by Improve the closet structure design to improve the problem of poor stability of the closet.To provide ideas and methods for the subsequent design practice.(3)On the basis of the above research,a classic closet which is widely used and sold in high volume among rental housing people is selected as the prototype of improved design for deconstruction and analysis,and the design elements and design countermeasures summarized in the early stage are applied to improve the design concept,and stainless steel foldable connectors,cavity plates and additional foldable functional parts are applied to integrate and perfect the final improved design scheme,and the improved scheme is compared with the prototype to The modified solution was compared with the prototype,and the design was evaluated to verify the feasibility of the modified design practice.
