| According to historical documents and unearthed relics,lacquering technology was firstly used in primitive society in China.As a craft technique in lacquering technology,inlay also has thousands of years of historical practice and cultural connotation.The application of inlay technique in modern lacquer jewelry has opened a new artistic trend of lacquering technology in lacquer jewelry design,not only providing a new idea for lacquering technology to integrate into modern life,but also providing a new development direction for modern lacquer jewelry design.There have been many designs combining inlay technique and jewelry in the long history of lacquering technology.These inlaid lacquer jewelry not only showed their important decorative value,but also reflected the designers’ originality of and the aesthetic thoughts,cultural connotations and trends of the society at that time.In this paper,the development history and advantages of inlay were comprehensively organized,the promotion and limitations of the modern social and cultural background on the development of lacquer art were analyzed,and inlay and modern jewelry were tried to combine in practice,so as to provide new ideas for promoting the integration of inlay technique and lacquer jewelry design.Firstly,a detailed overview and explanation of inlay were given,and the origin,development,value and material types of inlay were organized.Secondly,the unique advantages of inlay in terms of material,color texture and shape were summarized and narrated,and the application of these three aspects in the design of modern lacquer jewelry was enumerate to prove that the design of inlaid jewelry has been integrated into the public’s life aesthetics.In the end of the paper,the author’s practical creation of inlaid lacquer jewelry "Geometry" was introduced.This work integrates inlay and lacquer jewelry design to show the artistic charm and artistic language of inlaid lacquer jewelry.Based on the summary,analysis and reference of original lacquer jewelry,the material uniqueness,modeling language,color texture,cultural connotation,etc.of inlay were combined with modern lacquer jewelry to provide innovative concepts and ideas for the inheritance and development of inlay. |
