Study On Application Of The Modeling Elements Of Clay Sculpture “Nigugu” In Xun County,Henan Province In Lacquer Jewelry Design

“Nigugu”in Xun County,Henan Province,as an ancient traditional folk arts and crafts,is the common name of small clay toys given by citizens of Xun Country.It was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006.As an intangible cultural heritage in the north of China,Nigugu in Xun County,Henan Province has rich artistic research value both in its external plastic arts and in its internal cultural connotation.This paper deeply explores the application of the modeling elements of clay sculpture“Nigugu“ in the design of modern lacquer jewelry,aiming at how to combine folk culture with modern jewelry,analyzes the necessity of the application the modeling elements of “Nigugu“ in the design of modern lacquer jewelry from the aspects of local development demand,the commonality of “Nigugu” and lacquer jewelry,and the design value.Among them,the design value is analyzed and discussed in detail from the three perspectives of functional value,economic value and cultural value,which fully explains the innovation demand for the future development of “Nigugu”,and provides sufficient theoretical basis for the design and the application the modeling elements of “Nigugu” in the design of modern lacquer jewelry.Combined with the design concept,this paper makes an in-depth study on the typical shape,color and artistic characteristics of “Nigugu”.Based on the concept,the paper chooses the appropriate design methods and principles to make the design scheme of lacquer jewelry design with elements in “Nigugu”,and finally makes the design finished product,which tries to provide a new idea for the innovative design of“Nigugu”,and provides a new reference for the inheritance and development of“Nigugu”culture through lacquer jewelry design.In addition,the cultural connotation of jewelry design is very important at present society.As one of China’s intangible cultural heritages,“Nigugu” has rich cultural deposits,for which that taking China’s precious intangible culture as the inspiration source of lacquered jewelry design is conducive to the inheritance of China’s intangible cultural heritage,and provides a new idea for contemporary lacquer d jewelry design meanwhile.
