| With the rapid development of air transport industry, airports around the world are in urgent need of building more runways and expanding airport capacity due to the reasons of runway saturation, reduced management efficiency, more delays and greatly increased costs. However, many factors need to be considered in the construction of runway,so it is difficult to build more runways.According to the regulations of the closely spaced parallel in China, when the distance between two runways is less than 762m,the approach procedure shall operate according to one runway. If the closely spaced parallel can operate independently according to the two runways, the problems such as airspace and airport saturation and the difficulty of airport construction can be well solved. For this reason,NASA Ames Research Center proposed a program to closely spaced parallels, allowing the two runways to operate independently. In this paper, the safety interval of the paired approach procedure for a closely spaced parallel is studied. The specific contents are as follows:Firstly, the optimal Grey Markov method was used to predict the paired approach collision risk values of the parallel runway.Secondly, the EVENT model was optimized to study the paired approach collision risk of the parallel runway with the air frame collision, and the relationship between the collision risk value and the safety interval was obtained. Then, based on the data of ADS-B system, the kinematics process of the closely spaced parallel pairing approach was analyzed, and the longitudinal, lateral and vertical pairing spacer models were established. Then, based on the spacer model, the paired approach collision risk of the parallel runway considering the influence of wake is studied, and the numerical relationship between the collision risk value and the safety interval is obtained. Finally, the safety interval model was established and the range of safety interval was obtained by considering the collision risk of the closely spaced parallel in the case of the air frame collision and the wake. This paper studies the above contents and draws the following conclusions:(1)Compared with the actual aviation accident rate, the predicted value of collision risk obtained by using the grey Markov method is roughly the same, and the predicted value of collision risk from 2025 to 2029 meets the safety target level of 1.5×10-9times/flight hour, indicating the feasibility of the prediction model.Compared with the collision risk prediction value obtained only by the grey prediction method, the collision risk prediction value is closer to the actual value and the accuracy is higher;(2)The volume of the collision box of the optimized Event model was reduced by 48%,and the longitudinal collision risk value met the safety target level of 1.5×10-9times/flight hour.Compared with the longitudinal collision risk value of the traditional Event model and the Reich model,it was closer to the actual longitudinal collision risk value, and the accuracy of the improved model was improved;(3)The maximum spacing values in longitudinal, lateral and vertical directions are related to the corresponding initial spacing values. The initial spacing values in lateral direction are related to the distance from the center line of the runway, the distance from FAF point to the end of the runway and the flat flight distance of the rear aircraft before the FAF point;(4)Taking Shanghai Hongqiao Airport as an example, the longitudinal and lateral safety interval ranges under the predicted value of collision risk in 2022 are calculated, and the longitudinal interval ranges are obtained as[400.6m,6644m],and the lateral interval ranges are obtained as[279m,931.6m]. |
