The Effect Of Digital Inclusive Finance On Quality Of Life Of Rural Residents In China

In recent years,with the rapid development of information technology such as Internet technology,artificial intelligence and cloud computing,digital inclusive finance has affected the lives of rural residents to a certain extent with its unique advantages of low threshold,wide coverage and focus on long-tail markets.Therefore,discussing the impact of digital inclusive finance on the quality of life of rural residents is of great practical significance to improve the level of rural digital inclusive financial services and improve the quality of life of rural residents.This paper first analyzes the main characteristics and development status of digital inclusive finance in China,constructs the quality of life index system of rural residents from five dimensions,and uses the entropy method to measure it.Secondly,the impact mechanism of digital inclusive finance on the quality of life of rural residents is analyzed from the theoretical level,and finally,based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2014 to 2020,the linear and nonlinear effects,and heterogeneity of digital inclusive finance on the quality of life of rural residents are empirically tested using panel fixed effect model,instrumental variable method and panel threshold effect modeBased on the above research,the results obtained in this paper show that: first,digital inclusive finance has a significant role in promoting the quality of life of rural residents in China,and the breadth of coverage,depth of use and degree of digitalization all have a positive effect on the quality of life of rural residents,among which the breadth of coverage has the greatest impacts.Second,the digital financial inclusion total index and all levels of dimensional index have a threshold effect,which can help improve the quality of life of rural residents regardless of the stage of development.Third,there are regional differences in the significant role of digital inclusive finance in promoting the quality of life of rural residents,with the eastern region playing the largest role and the central and western regions decreasing in order.
