| With the increasing complexity of the information environment and the continuous expansion of the scale of data,data visualization has become an important means for humans to gain insight into the connotation of data and understand the laws of data,and in different scenarios in different industries,user needs and concerns are also different.Information presentation and interaction methods affect the user’s task performance and experience.Therefore,layout design and interaction design play a fundamental and critical role in visual design.It is helpful to realize the matching of time series visual design and user cognition.To reduce user learning costs,improve user behavior performance,and create a better user experience.Based on the theory of user cognition and time series visualization as the carrier,this paper studies and explores the information layout and interaction design of time series visualization.First of all,in terms of time series visualization,the definition and style of time series visualization are sorted out,and the characteristics of different layout designs and interaction designs are refined and classified.On the user side,the cognitive processing process of people under time series visualization is studied from the perception phase,the cognitive phase and the reaction phase,and the user needs and user behaviors under the time series visualization are analyzed and summarized,and the time series visualization and User cognitive interaction model.Secondly,based on the related theories and cognitive interaction models of time series visualization,and user task-oriented,the time series visualization layout and interaction design process and method system are constructed,which specifically includes four stages: chart element analysis and task flow establishment.The task flow selects the appropriate layout style and interaction style,interactive behavior design and visual performance design,and proposes corresponding design principles for each step.Then take the line chart as an example,explore the optimal design under the search task through layout and interactive user behavior experiments,perform multi-task efficiency evaluation and experience evaluation on multiple schemes of the line chart,and record them under different layouts and interactive design schemes The user completes task time and subjective evaluation,through the analysis of experimental results,obtains the best layout style and interaction style of the line chart under different tasks,and establishes the relationship between layout elements,interaction styles and user behavior performance and experience.Finally,based on the visual layout of time series and interactive design methods and strategies,as well as the conclusions of behavioral experiments,based on user cognition,optimize the design of the fund trend chart in the "Tiantian Fund" app,and conduct A/B tests on the plan before and after the optimization..The test results show that whether it is user behavior performance or subjective evaluation,the optimized interface of the fund trend chart is better than the original interface.The research results of the thesis show that starting from the task scenarios and user needs,the layout and interaction design that follow the user’s perception can effectively help users better understand the data,so as to achieve a more effective decision-making process.Therefore,in-depth study of user needs,user behavior,and user mind before designing a visual chart is an indispensable link in the chart design and development process. |
