Research On The Application Of Interactive Information Visualization In Tourism Map Design

Facing the information fatigue caused by the Big Bang,how to transfer information in a fast and interesting way has become a hot spot of current research.Information visualization,as a means of communication for information dissemination,provides a new way for people to understand and think about information by transforming complex and abstract information into easy-to-understand visual language.At the same time,information visualization with interactive means has become a new trend in information development,that is,more complex interaction between people and information is emphasized while transmitting complex information.As a collection of urban culture and information,the tourist map focuses more on the artistic expression and entertainment of information than ordinary maps.However,in a society where technology is the first productive force,many map designers focus their research on the development of map functions,ignoring their artistic and interesting research.At present,the tourist maps of most cities mostly follow the expression form of general electronic maps.Most of the design of map symbols has been designed based on geographic databases.The form is single and lacks innovation.Therefore,the exploration of the visual representation of information in tourist maps and the interesting interaction are issues that contemporary designers need to face urgently.From the perspective of interactive information visualization,this paper first discusses the types of information in tourist maps,secondly analyzes the design laws of information symbols and visual elements in tourist maps,and finally starts from the interactive interface of tourist maps.The overall style design and interesting interaction methods summarize a set of design principles and design methods for interactive information visualization of tourist maps.Finally,based on the principle of applying theory to practice,a set of cartoon-style Tianjin Haihe tourist maps and an interface for mobile APP products with tourist maps as the core carrier were designed.
