| With the rapid development of China’s economy and trade as well as the continuous improvement of transportation infrastructure, the requirements for the transportation industry have also been increasing. In order to meet the needs of rapid market development,China began to vigorously develop multimodal transportation. As multimodal transport can optimize and coordinate various single modes of transport, and get a good fame from the majority of customers for its outstanding advantages of "one consignment","one document","one insurance" and "one billing".At the same time,in order to further play an important role in the economic and social development of multimodal transport, relevant state departments have promulgated a number of policy documents and relevant standards to encourage and support the development of multimodal transport.Driven by the strong market demand and the relaxed environment provided by policies, multimodal transportation has entered a rapid development stage. However, while bringing convenience, efficiency and low cost to the demanders, multimodal transport has also exposed information asymmetry in the operation process and risks in technology and management,so it is especially important to increase risk management and supervision of multimodal transport service quality. In this paper,we take multimodal transport as the research object, address the increasingly prominent multimodal transport service quality problems, and consider the multimodal transport operators, carriers and shippers involved in multimodal transport service quality supervision from the stakeholder’s perspective, and study their strategy choices and influencing factors. The game situation of multimodal transport is simulated and analyzed through evolutionary game and Matlab software to provide suggestions for its healthy and sustainable development.Firstly, the evolutionary game model between multimodal transport operators and carriers is constructed and analyzed in depth. The results show that there is a stable equilibrium strategy in the game between the two parties, but the carriers are more inclined to default in the game process, which is obviously difficult to achieve a benign state of promoting the sustainable and healthy development of multimodal transport.Secondly, based on the analysis of the game model between multimodal transport operators and carriers,an evolutionary game model under shipper feedback was constructed by introducing shipper supervision parameter variables. The analysis results show that shipper feedback can prompt operators and carriers to choose strategies that are conducive to improving the service quality of multimodal transport, which in turn promotes the high-quality development of multimodal transport. After that,in order to verify the rationality of the theoretical analysis, this paper uses Matlab software to simulate the evolutionary game model constructed in the paper, and analyzes the influence of the change of parameter values on the evolutionary stabilization strategy, and derives the main factors affecting the evolution of the game system. Finally, the game analysis results are used to propose countermeasures to improve the quality of multimodal transport services. This paper applies evolutionary game theory to the study of multimodal transport service quality supervision, reveals the evolutionary process of multimodal transport service quality supervision, and broadens the application field of theory.Through the analysis of different strategies of multimodal transport operators and carriers, the important role of shipper feedback in the development of multimodal transport is clarified, which is of great significance to further improve the quality of multimodal transport services in China. |
