With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in Tarim River Basin,the quantity of industrial water,urban water and ecological water is increasing,the extrusion of non-agricultural water to agricultural water is becoming more and more obvious,and the degree and scale of non-agricultural water resources are increasing,which will inevitably pose a threat to agricultural water.Will non-agricultural water resources in Tarim River Basin induce farmers to adopt Water-saving Technology? Will Non-agricultural Water Resources in Tarim River Basin Reduce Agricultural Output? How to break through the “hard restriction”of water resources and realize the coordinated development of various industries is the only way to guarantee the ecological security of Tarim River Basin.Based on this,this paper analyzed the influence of non-agricultural water resources on agricultural production,and calculated the specific value of agricultural output reduction caused by non-agricultural water resources in Tarim River Basin from a macroscopic perspective by using relevant statistical data and survey data of farmers.At the micro level,it proves that non-agricultural water resources in Tarim River Basin has dual effects on agricultural production.And put forward countermeasures and suggestions.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The non-agricultural water resources in the Tarim River Basin has a dual influence on agricultural production.The positive aspect can promote the application of water-saving technology and save agricultural water,which is conducive to the progress of agricultural water-saving technology and the improvement of water resources utilization efficiency.The negative impact is that the reduction of agricultural water will lead farmers to plant crops with high yield efficiency and low water consumption driven by benefits,resulting in a single regional crop planting structure.(2)Combining production function and multiple regression,the conclusion is drawn: Irrigation water consumption plays a significant role in promoting agricultural output value,and the specific value of agricultural output reduction caused by non-agricultural water resources in the Tarim River Basin is calculated by calculating agricultural water reduction amount and agricultural output value of single water.Finally,it is analyzed that the water use efficiency in the Tarim River Basin has a large space to increase,and the shortage of agricultural water can be improved by improving water use efficiency.(3)The decrease of agricultural water caused by non-agricultural water resources will induce farmers to adopt water-saving technologies.The main influencing factors of farmers’ adoption of water-saving technologies are age and land management scale.(4)Promote water-saving technology to improve the efficiency of agricultural irrigation,so as to enhance farmers’ willingness to save water and promote moderate scale management of agriculture.In addition,it is necessary to strengthen the supervision and management of non-agricultural water resources,formulate corresponding laws and regulations,and optimize the water distribution scheme between regions and industries,so as to achieve effective control of the trend of non-agricultural water resources.
