Qian Xuesen Complex System Ideological Research

Qian Xuesen is a leading figure in systems science in China and has made great contributions to the birth and development of systems science.He proposed a new scientific system based on modern science and technology,and developed the idea of complex systems,which is a brilliant achievement in the study of systems science in China.Complex systems thinking is the basic theory of the system of systems science,which is mainly derived from the results of early systems science,the practice of systems engineering,and gradually formed the concept of open complex giant systems,open complex giant systems theory and metasynthetic wisdom theory.The study of Qian Xuesen’s ontological ideas on complex systems rises to a philosophical ontology by elaborating on the nature of open complex giant systems,revealing the universal reality of the world and showing that the world is a complex body of interconnections,interactions and changes and developments.Within the framework of complexity thinking,the epistemology of complex systems is studied to reveal that the way humans know complex objects is the process of knowing the world.The meta-synthesis approach from qualitative to quantitative points to the methodological path of complex systems as a bottom-up,top-down synthesis.The advancement of education,the construction of ecosystems and social governance are all highly compatible with Qian Xuesen’s idea of complex systems,and they all have inescapable complexity.Qian Xuesen’s complex systems thinking has given a strong impetus to the development of education,ecology and social governance.Through the analysis and study of the evolution of Qian Xuesen’s complex systems thought,its ontological,epistemological and methodological contents,as well as contemporary revelations,the article is not only conducive to our knowledge and understanding of Qian’s complex systems thought,but also to the mastery of the philosophical contents in Qian’s complex systems thought,and has extremely important implications for social development in the new era.
