Research Of Qian Xuesen's Open Complex Giant Systems(OCGS)

Qian Xuesen is a famous scientist and ideologist of China,His thought including political,economic and cultural.He also made a great contribution in the “atomic and hydrogen bombs and man-made satellites” work.The whole world is studying complexity.In this condition,Qian Xuesen have come up with the theory of OCGS,The entire process is divided into three operations,the first step is Giant System,the second step is Complex Giant System,the third step is Open Complex Giant System.The focus of "open complex giant system"(OCGS)transcends reductionism in methodology.In this theory qualitative and quantitative methods are both needed,it highlights the "human-machine interaction and human centered".This is a pioneering work at that time,which is highly interconnected with technology and has a powerful operability.In the work of "atomic and hydrogen bombs and man-made satellites ",the OCGS theory has played a major role,it combined administrative management and practical experience.And in nowadays it is continuously used in the space industry of China.In contemporary modernization,Qian Xuesen's "open complex giant system" still plays an important role in guiding and building in government policy making,transportation planning,emergency response mechanism and AI ect.This paper based on the basic theory of philosophy,try to see issues from the perspective of technology and society,it expounds Qian Xuesen's open complex giant system in terms of theory and practical production.The paper has four parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the purpose and significance of the topic selection,the research summary,research of China and abroad,and the key points,the difficulties and the innovation points.The second part is the basic theory of open complex giant system,which is composed of two parts.In the first part,it analyzes the subjective and objective conditions of its formation in detail,and the second part is the theoretical basis of its formation.The two parts supports each other to explain the theory.The third part is the basic idea of OCGS,it analyses the characteristics,properties and research methods of the theory.The fourth part is the application of the theory of opening complex giant system,taking social management and production practice as the breakthrough point,and analyzing its application in practice.
