Modeling And Analysis Of Bounded Confidence Opinion Dynamics Over Clustered Social Networks

Opinion dynamics mainly studies individuals in social groups how to form,spread and exchange their opinions through local communication on the complex network in an uncertain environment.Aiming at the heterogeneity and dynamics of social network structure,this thesis combines the complex network theory and opinion dynamics theory to propose a bounded confidence opinion dynamic model over the clustered social network and analyses the influence of dynamic changes in network structure on the evolution of group opinion evolution.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1)Aiming at the individual’s preference for their own opinions,this thesis establishes a opinion dynamic model of non-consistent bounded trust opinions with individuals’ stubbornness and preference,and analyses the influence of individual’s stubbornness degree and preference on the evolution of group opinions.The results show that the individuals’ stubbornness can prolong the group-consensus time and disperse final opinions,and the individuals’ preference can affect the group opinions.2)Aiming at the heterogeneity of social networks,a hierarchical clustered network is established,in which the agents are divided into opinion leaders and ordinary individuals according to their different roles in the interaction process.This thesis constructes a bounded confidence opinion dynamic model with intermittent communication,and analyses the influence of network structure characteristics and asynchronous interaction mechanism on the evolution of group opinions.The results show that the proposed model eventually reached a state of ”soft consensus”,which can more truly simulate the evolution of group opinion evolution.3)Aiming at the time-variability of social networks,this thesis proposes a dynamic multi-layer social network model based on genetic variation.Based on the intermittent communication opinion dynamic model over the clustered social network,this thesis analyses the influence of the dynamic change of network structure on opinion evolution.The results show that when the network structure changes dynamically and becomes dense,the final state of the group opinion will become concentrated.
