| With the development of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, immersive visualization has become a fast-growing research topic.Node-link diagram,is one of the basic visualizations to present relationship between data item in immersive environment. Many research focusing on 2D visualization interface of node-link diagrams have been witnessed. However, there have been few studies on investigating these questions in immersive environment,to discuss design space of visualization interfaces in AR environment. To this end,we design two interfaces based on Focus+Cntext and Overview+Detail concepts, and conduct a controlled user study to assess the effectiveness of using interfaces in adjacency and accessibility tasks. Results show that Focus+Context interface costs less time than others during most tasks,as well as lowest error rate in dense graph.Overview+Detail interface enhances exploration in complex path task.We also analyze user feedback and movements in experiment scene. This research provides guidelines on designing visualization interfaces in immersive environments.Recently,we have seen considerable efforts on collaborative immersive analysis, but 3D node-link diagrams collaborative visualization receives little focus so far.We first discuss design space of collaborative visual analysis in immersive environment, survey information flow and work flow on visualizations, and how these flows facilitate common visualization tasks. This design space is then demonstrated with a visual analysis case on soccer pass network in unity. We design several techniques for this case, such as visualization components coordinate synchronization for scene-aware,user situation synchronization for interactionaware, and shared note on visualization for infomation exchange.By the visual analysis on player’s importance in pass network during one game, the collaboration process of the soccer team tactics analysis is demonstrated,as well as the potential of collaborative analysis in immersive environment. |
