In the process of oil and gas exploration,due to the heterogeneity of the reservoir,the real situation of the reservoir is difficult to be quickly and accurately represented by conventional formation identification technology.As a result,the difficulty of well trajectory optimization decision is increased.Therefore,artificial intelligence algorithm and virtual reality technology are introduced,and a formation identification method based on CS-elastic BP algorithm and virtual reality visualization of formation while drilling are proposed to realize the recognition and visualization of complex formation in immersive well trajectory optimization decision,so as to reduce the difficulty of well trajectory optimization decision.The main research and development work includes:(1)Application of intelligent formation identification algorithmSeven drilling parameters were selected as identification indexes of formation lithology.By comparing the recognition results of Bayesian classification algorithm and elastic BP algorithm,the formation recognition algorithm is determined.Comparing the recognition results of GA-elastic BP algorithm and CS-elastic BP algorithm,the formation recognition algorithm is further optimized.The CS-elastic BP algorithm is used to establish the formation lithology identification classification model.The simulation results show that the defect that the elastic BP network is easy to fall into the local minimum is overcome by the CS-elastic BP algorithm.At the same time,the specificity and sensitivity of the algorithm have obvious advantages.The accuracy of the algorithm is high,and the accuracy of formation identification is 93.8 %.The formation identification results and drilling parameters are stored in the Excel table of formation drilling data.(2)Build immersive drilling virtual environmentThe drilling equipment and 3D formation model were created by 3Ds Max software,and the map of the model was created by PS software.Two sets of particle systems,soil and dust,were created by Unity3 D platform during drilling.The interactive control of drilling equipment and particle system is realized by writing C # script program,and the visualization of drilling equipment running track in three-dimensional virtual formation is realized.(3)Visual formation interface design and control effect additionThe login interface and the stratum visualization interface are created based on the UGUI system.The connection between the actual drilling data table and the drilling equipment in the virtual environment is established by the Excel Data Reader class library and the related interface functions in Unity3 D.The jump of the scene,the tripping of the drill bit and the realtime query of the formation drilling data are controlled by the editing script program;visual interactive environment to complete the release.The development of complex formation identification and visualization environment in the trajectory optimization decision-making of immersed wells.While the formation parameters are quickly and accurately identified,the visualization of formation,formation drillability and bit information is also realized.An immersive formation identification and visualization decision-making environment in steering drilling control is provided.
