In December 2019,the novel coronavirus spread rapidly around the world, which was the largest public health event my country faced after the SARS epidemic in 2003.During the epidemic, home isolation is one of the main prevention and control methods, and it is particularly important for residential epidemic prevention research. However, the epidemic is sudden and the accumulation is limited.Previously, residential epidemic prevention research was very insufficient. This paper takes the economically developed, densely populated areas with hot summers and warm winters as the research scope, and the high-rise residential buildings with dense population, living and construction volume as the research objects, mainly for the analysis of air transmission, taking respiratory infectious diseases as the breakthrough point, and summarizes the results. The design experience or measures for the weak points of epidemic prevention in residential buildings,on the one hand, serve as a reference for the optimization of existing houses, and on the other hand, provide reference for new houses. This paper investigates typical high-rise residential buildings in areas with hot summers and warm winters built after 2010,and summarizes the four types of public activity spaces, recesses, apartment types, and balconies that have a certain impact on the spread of the epidemic by studying the transmission routes of the epidemic in high-rise residential buildings.Design factors, classify and sort out these influencing factors and build a research model as the basis for subsequent analysis. Then, the different types of high-rise residential public activity spaces, the width and depth of the notch, the layout, depth and position of the window openings, balcony overhangs, railings and wing walls were simulated and combined qualitative and quantitative analysis, and the CFD software Fluent was used. The simulated wind environment is used to assist the research on the daily and epidemic situation of high-rise residential buildings.Based on the analysis results and combined with the different use needs of daily and epidemic situations, corresponding design strategies are proposed. At present,my country still lacks the quantitative standards for residential epidemic prevention, and the corresponding design specifications are not perfect. This paper conducts quantitative research on the wind environment design of residential epidemic prevention.Outbreaks of respiratory infectious diseases provide a reference.
