In recent years, the central government has been promoting the strategy of rural revitalization, and the "three rural issues" have been the top priority of the work. The core of the "three rural issues" is the income increase of rural residents, and the government’s emphasis on the income of farmers is reflected by the various policies issued by the government,so it is important to explore how to continuously improve the income of farmers. Most of the studies on the factors influencing farmers’ income in the existing literature are focused on the national scale or provinces, and the analysis is based on the panel data of statistical yearbook, among which there are fewer research results that take county farmers as the research object and conduct field sampling research;most scholars’ research on the factors influencing farmers’ income gradually changes from single-factor analysis to multi-factor analysis, but the research object takes farmers with different income levels in the county as the research object However,it is not common to study farmers with different income levels in the county.Based on the above realistic background and current research situation, this paper analyzes the income of farm households from the perspectives of human capital, physical capital and social capital of farm households in the surveyed counties and analyzes the influencing factors of farm households’ income at a deeper level, taking Yanggu County as the regional sample and mainly using literature research method, survey method and empirical analysis method.Based on the field survey to interpret the questionnaire survey data of farm household income in Yanggu County in 2021,we analyzed the individual information differences of the sample farm households, and used Mincer’s income equation and semi-logarithmic regression model through STATA data analysis software to analyze the various factors affecting the per capita net income, per capita agricultural income and per capita non-agricultural income of farm households in Yanggu County. It was found that the average years of education of household labor force, household support burden, the proportion of population receiving skill training, arable land area, total agricultural investment, the presence of village cadres, household transportation and communication costs, membership in agricultural cooperatives, and the relevant characteristics of household heads had significant effects on farm household income. The effects of human capital, physical capital and social capital on the income of farm households at different quartiles were investigated by establishing quantile regression models. The results of the study showed that the age, health status, and political affiliation of the household head,as well as the amount of human capital, had a greater effect on the income of lower-income farming households;the physical capital, social capital, and borrowing of the household had a greater effect on the income of middle-income and higher-income farming households, especially the middle-income households. Finally,by studying the factors influencing the household income of Yanggu County,we propose corresponding countermeasures for Yanggu County to improve the overall income level and increase the income of its farming households, such as improving the rural education system, promoting the construction of rural infrastructure, facilitating the employment and entrepreneurship of farming households in the vicinity;narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas, and helping farming households to increase their income through multiple channels,so as to further consolidate the results of poverty eradication and improve the quality of poverty eradication. |
