Pocket parks are an important part of urban public space.As the closest outdoor space to community residents,the spatial quality of pocket parks plays a vital role in improving the quality of the living environment.At present,a large number of pocket parks have been completed in Xiamen,which is one of the most frequently used types of urban green space.Xiamen is located in the humid and hot area of southern my country,with long summers,high average temperatures and mild winters,making it suitable for outdoor activities throughout the year.The survey found that many pocket parks in Xiamen are affected by factors such as their location and landscape design,forming different site microclimates and having completely different usage conditions.Therefore,it is worthwhile to study the relationship between pocket park design and microclimate in this region,improve the microclimate comfort of pocket park through design,and then promote the use of the site.This paper takes the pocket parks in Xiamen Island as the research object,combined with the construction and use of pocket parks in recent years,and conducts a detailed analysis of all the parks involved in terms of construction and distribution,service and use,surrounding urban environmental conditions,and the conditions of the underlying surface of the site.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the latter two have an important impact on the microclimate of the site.On this basis,the most representative cases were selected from the built pocket parks for microclimate testing,and quantitative analysis was used to study the characteristics,variation laws and temporal and spatial differences of microclimates in different spatial environments.Through the methods of behavior observation and subjective questionnaire survey,the subjective evaluation of thermal comfort and the related research on the use of pocket parks were carried out,and the summer thermal neutral temperature and thermal comfort zone of pocket parks in Xiamen were obtained.The qualitative and quantitative research results of typical cases show that the surrounding urban environment and underlying surface conditions are the most important factors affecting the microclimate of pocket parks.The study also found that in Xiamen,differences in microclimates have a very direct impact on the use of pocket parks.Combined with the measured results and usage statistics,this study explores the subjective thermal environment evaluation,thermal comfort index and usage status of pocket parks in Xiamen Island,and draws relevant conclusions and laws.The research in this paper is helpful to understand the use of pocket parks in Xiamen,and has a guiding reference value for the design of pocket parks. |
