The indoor design of kindergartens based on ergonomic standards for children’s body size can help improve the scientific, safe, and comfortable functionality of the indoor functional space in kindergartens.Studying the interior design of kindergartens based on ergonomic dimension data for children can effectively improve the convenience of use for teachers and students and improve the efficiency of design work. This project takes the indoor space of kindergartens as the research object, mainly studying the scientific relationship between the human body size of children aged 46 and the indoor space design of kindergartens. The aim is to guide the indoor design of kindergartens with scientific methods and theories, which is specifically divided into the following four parts:(1)Conduct research on the current situation of indoor design in kindergartens.Conduct an investigation and analysis of the current situation and existing problems in the kindergarten interior design industry, summarize the shortcomings of kindergarten interior design theory and space design, and analyze excellent cases to summarize the advantages of excellent cases.(2)Analyze the body size and indoor functional space of children aged 4—6.Based on the human body data of children aged 4—6 in the national standard documents and the industry standard documents, select the appropriate human body data category, establish the statistical quantile of percentiles applicable to the kindergarten interior design, modify the data in combination with the actual situation, calculate the human body size data model of children aged 4—6 applicable to the kindergarten interior design, and verify the applicability of the model through field measurement of data validation.Analyze the functional modules of the kindergarten, identify the design elements of each functional space, and summarize the spatial layout and size standards that need to be followed in the design based on the kindergarten building standards. And summarized the principles of scientificity, safety, comfort, matching, and perception.(3)Based on the human body size data model of children aged 4—6 and combined with the spatial layout size standards of kindergartens,a size database dedicated to indoor design of kindergartens, including activity rooms, cloakrooms, dormitories, bathrooms, corridors, and other common spaces of kindergartens,is designed.Classify according to functional modules and complete the construction of a standard system for kindergarten interior design size data.(4)A scheme simulation was conducted based on the standard system of indoor design size data for kindergartens, and the design practice content was summarized and compared.Survey the satisfaction of kindergarten users, operators, and designers with the standard system of kindergarten size data through questionnaire surveys,on—site visits, and other forms. This project aims to improve the scientificity, safety, and comfort of indoor design in kindergartens.Based on national standard data files, children’s human body data analysis is conducted.Based on relevant architectural design theories, the functional space of kindergartens is analyzed, and a standard system for indoor design size data in kindergartens is analyzed.Design practice and market feedback research are conducted using this standard system as a sample.
