Abstract/Summary:
Lightning is a highly destructive and dangerous weather phenomenon that can cause significant economic losses in various fields such as aviation,defense,communication,computer,electronics,petroleum,postal,transportation,and forestry.Given the favorable conditions for thunderstorm generation in Ningxia and the severe consequences of lightning disasters in previous years,analyzing lightning data in this region is crucial.This article discusses the extraction of key parameters of lightning waveforms and the division of lightning risk zones in Ningxia,and explores its future application prospects.The main research contents are as follows:(1)In terms of the extraction of key parameters of lightning waveform,this article preprocesses more than 140,000 sets of lightning waveform data collected from July to September 2019,improves the accuracy of the data using cubic interpolation,and extracts important parameters using zero-crossing theory,including positive and negative ground flashes,time of rise 10%,50%,90%,time of fall 10%,50%,90%,zero-crossing point,and rebound zero-crossing start and end points.More than 2.3 million key data were extracted based on these parameters,and the central limit theorem was used to verify the data,which conforms to the characteristics of big data and has strong reliability.Finally,an algorithm was developed to automatically process data and save waveform images and key data to an Excel table using a Matlab application.(2)In terms of lightning risk area division,this paper processes 12048 sets of lightning location data collected from July to September 2019,judges the relationship between lightning falling point and districts and counties through the K-means clustering and ray method,and plots the lightning risk area based on the number of lightning.Subsequently,the introduction of the districts and counties area,GDP,population,population per square kilometer,lightning per square kilometer,per square kilometer GDP key parameters such as Z-cross normalization,after the processing parameters weighted,calculated in the summer of Ningxia lightning risk coefficient,according to the coefficient of Ningxia lightning high risk area division,the helan mountain wind slope of Yinchuan,Shizuishan area of lightning risk is more serious than other regions,put forward feasible summer lightning protection measures are proposed.The research results of this article are of great significance for improving the accuracy of Ningxia’s lightning disaster monitoring and warning,and also provide new ideas and methods for the construction of lightning protection engineering.
