Research On The Impact Of National Park’s Environmental Interpretation On Tourists Environmental Responsibility Behavior Intention

Environmental problems have always been a major problem in China’s economic and social development,and tourism is an important pillar industry of China’s economic development,which should actively contribute to sustainable development.National parks are beautiful demonstration sites in China to maintain ecological security,protect natural landscapes and biodiversity,and they also bear the important responsibility of environmental education for citizens.Therefore,how to effectively set up environmental interpretation in the construction of national parks affects whether tourists can receive effective environmental education,and ultimately affects tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior and willingness.Therefore,based on this background,the following research is carried out in this paper in order to provide some theoretical guidance for the construction of national park environmental interpretation facilities in practice.According to the principles of accessibility and ease of operation,Wuyishan National Park is selected as the case of this study.Before the formal experiment,this study will interview tourists in Wuyishan National Park on the spot by means of interview to understand the current situation of environmental interpretation in Wuyishan National Park,tourists’willingness to act in terms of environmental responsibility,etc.,and provide some content support for research assumptions and conclusions.Through literature analysis,it can be seen that environmental interpretation content has always been the focus of research in the field of environmental education,and different environmental interpretation content can have different degrees of impact on tourists.The target frame effect also points out that negative or positive expressions can have a significant impact on tourists’ behavioral intentions.Therefore,this paper selects the interpretation content of different information frames as one of the independent variables of this paper;Based on China’s cultural background,some studies have pointed out that Chinese tourists prefer to read and watch the environmental interpretation content of artistic style.Therefore,this paper selects the environmental interpretation content of different interpretation styles as the second independent variable of this paper,and designs relevant experiments to explore the relationship between it and tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior intention.In order to further explore its mechanism,this paper also introduces reflective engagement,anticipate guilt,national pride and other variables for the special situation of national parks and scenic spots based on cognitive and emotional dimensions.Through the analysis of the data obtained in this study,we can draw the following conclusions:(1)Different information frameworks and different interpretation styles of environmental interpretation content can have a significant impact on reflective engagement and anticipate guilt.The extreme information framework can cause more reflective engagement and anticipate guilt of tourists than the positive information framework,and the artistic interpretation content can cause more reflective engagement and anticipate guilt of tourists than the scientific interpretation style.(2)The environmental interpretation content with different information frameworks and different interpretation styles can have a significantly different impact on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior intention.The negative information framework can cause tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior intention more than the positive information framework.The artistic interpretation content can cause tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior intention more than the scientific interpretation content,and can be achieved through the intermediary role of reflective engagement,However,the mediating effect of anticipate guilt is not significant.(3)reflective engagement and anticipate guilt can significantly and positively predict tourists’environmental responsibility behavior intention.(4)National pride did not play a significant moderating role in the impact of reflective engagement and anticipate guilt on tourists’environmental responsibility behavior intention,but the interview results showed that national pride can stimulate tourists’ attention to environmental protection to a certain extent and make corresponding environmental responsibility behaviors.
