Consciousness is something that we experience all the time. When we see the bright green trees and blue sky,we get a feeling that we don’t get unconscious, and that is consciousness. We all have a right to speak about consciousness. But we still have a lot of confusion about consciousness. The traditional way of explaining consciousness is the realistic view, which takes the conscious realism as the base of all theories. As we try to explain why there is this invisible and untouchable "magical thing",and as we try to find out whether it arises from physical or psychic causes,we lose sight of an important premise. Is consciousness real?Is the existence of consciousness beyond doubt?Must consciousness not be non-realistic?Maybe the phenomena we see and feel are just illusions? Can consciousness really be a non-realistic illusion? We have a strong confidence in consciousness.Descartes once said:I know clearly that I can perceive my own mind more easily and visibly than anything else.Nevertheless, how do we know that our mind is not an illusion? Not a machine that can claim to be as conscious and properly programmed as a real human being? The theoretical advantage of accepting illusionism is that one no longer needs to explain whether consciousness exists or does not exist, but only why it seems to exist.Frankish’s illusionism essentially replaces the"hard problem of consciousness" with a solution to the"illusion problem".At the same time, the illusionism allows us to resolve the "hard problem" into a "less hard problem," which deepens our understanding of consciousness and makes everything that follows clearer.Thinking from illusionism perspectives is not only beneficial to the study of consciousness, but also has important implications for our study of machine consciousness and artificial intelligence consciousness.Note that these features of the attention schema theory have important implications for artificial intelligence and engineering.Computer programs that have been constructed by the brain can simulate the real world, guide decisions, derive conclusions, verbalize, act autonomously, etc.Graziano believes that there are indeed mechanisms in the brain that resemble a "mechanical brain".We can use the illusionist theory of attention schema theory to generate artificial consciousness with real intelligence.Illusionism has a number of important explanatory advantages, starting with the fact that illusionism allows us to acknowledge the wondrous aspects of phenomenal consciousness and its own unique dominance.Realism,on the other hand, often try to deny the fantastic aspects of phenomenal consciousness, interpreting magical experiences as clichedly caused by physical causes.Emphasis on the magical, nonphysical character of phenomenal consciousness usually means denying causal action;and treating them as physical causes usually denies that they are as magical as they seem. But if we regard phenomenal consciousness as an illusion, treating the phenomenal nature as an intentional object or a non-real thing,we are not in a dilemma;we can simply acknowledge its magic and weirdness, how powerfully they affect us.The illusionists offer a rebuttal to the reality of consciousness, but also out of a consideration of the long-debated and incomprehensible confusion of consciousness positivism, not a disregard for it.In fact,as Frankish says,"Illusionists attach more importance to consciousness."...
