| With the unceasingly development and change of social life for human beings,the concept for library is changing quickly.The library is developing from a purely book storage and access to the center for modern activity,information center,multimedia data.It has so many new space properties,such as intermediary space,public space,sharing space,free space.The library is no longer where is just for people to learn and read.It is the center for social activities,which means that the activity level is higher and higher for people at the library with spending more time,and that the energy consumption for library building accounts more.Finally,our people will put forward more new requirements for the comfort and ecology of library buildings.Based on the research status and practice situations of the ecological theory for green buildings,this study aims to provide a reference method and a kind of critical thinking for the passive ecological design for library buildings in Xi’an area from the perspective of space design.On the basis of amount of literature review,this study mainly focuses on theoretical research,field research,multi-disciplinary cross-collaboration,database collection and analysis,building culture and green performance comprehensive simulation analysis,and carries out the research in the way of "proposing problems--analyzing problems--solving problems--conclusion".This study based on the library buildings from Xi’an,and taken the climate buffer space of library buildings as the research object.Based on the local climate,it systematically studies the ecological design strategy of building climate buffer space in this region.Firstly,it analyzed the background of the ecological design of library buildings briefly,and then explained the research background,research purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and research framework of this topic,finally analyze the concept definition and relevant theories of climate buffer space.Secondly,from a comprehensive perspective,this study analyzed the spatial types whici can provide climate buffering effect in architecture,including their spatial properties and characteristics,and finally to find out the essential attributes of these spaces that can play climate buffering effect,and took them as classified bases.Then,the application status of climate buffer space in library buildings in xi ’an is summarized by analyzing the case from generalization to concretization.Thirdly,based on the local climate characteristics of Xi’an,this study summarizes the strategic design from three aspects: enveloping space,penetrating space and local additional space,and puts forward a multi-level composite design mode of climate buffer space.At last,the main points and shortcomings of this study were summarized,and this study was expected to provide some reference value for architectural creation from the design of climate buffer space. |
