The eastern part of Henan Province spans two climatic zones,with obvious seasonal changes,which poses a great challenge to the climate adaptability of buildings.Starting from the previous research on "climate buffer space",this paper studies the role of external space in regulating climate by combining the building type of primary and secondary schools with relatively rich outdoor space,so that it can create a teaching environment that satisfies the thermal comfort of teachers and students under the optimization of passive technology.Following the approach of concept analysis-field investigation-simulation optimization-effect verification,this paper firstly sorted out the research results at home and abroad,and combined with previous research methods and research focus,determined the research scope of this paper,and divided it into three categories:group layout space,single building space and external surface space.Secondly,based on the investigation of more than 20 primary and secondary schools in eastern Henan,the buffer demand factors of the external climate buffer space of teaching buildings are summarized,which are classified into four aspects: wind environment,light environment,heat environment and sound environment.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the optimization of three space types: group layout space,single building space and exterior building space.According to the group layout space,the advantages and disadvantages of different building spacing,storey height and location are compared,and optimization strategies and other potential influencing factors are proposed.In view of the single space,the cushioning effect of the number of enclosed surfaces,the form of enclosed openings,the overhead situation and the degree of dispersion of the single space on the climate is discussed,and the optimal design of the single space under the effect of the wind-thermal acoustic environment is proposed.According to the different types of external surface space,the corresponding optimization strategy is put forward.Through a series of analysis above,a consensus and regular optimization strategy is obtained,in an attempt to play a certain reference role in the optimization design of the external climate buffer space of primary and secondary school teaching buildings.Finally,in the design of Dongcheng Experimental School in Shenqiu County,the author selectively applied the conclusions and strategies drawn from the previous research to the actual teaching buildings of primary and secondary schools to verify the research conclusions of the paper.It is hoped that the research and discussion in this paper can provide reference for future correlation research.
