The year 2019 has witnessed the staring of the new college entrance examination reform in eight provinces and cities as the third batch of pilots,including Hunan,Chongqing,and Jiangsu.The biggest change in this round of reform is the adoption of the “3+1+2” subject selection model,which requires students to choose one subject in physics and history,and two more subjects in biology,chemistry,politics,and geography.Self-selection of subjects is implemented,and students can make choices based on their own interests and learning ability in corresponding subjects.Is it wise or suitable for high school students to choose biology? Excessive anxiety about scores and incomplete collection of information have caused students to be unreasonable in choosing subjects.Therefore,it is urgent to study the problems of high school biology selection and provide scientific selection guidance for students.This research is based on the guidance of Game Theory and it is conducted through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis so as to analyze high school students’ problems of subject selection concerning biology.The details are as follows:First of all,based on the definition and connotation analysis of the concept of“learning to learn” at home and abroad,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the biological ability of high school students on “learning to learn”,and using SPSS software to analyze the survey data,and it is found that there are differences in the biological ability of different individuals in terms of “learning to learn”.Based on the Game Theory and the hypothesis of “rational man”,it analyzes how students make choices about “whether to take the biology test” according to their own abilities.Secondly,the subject’s decision-making influence was quantified by The Banzhaf Power Index.Biology’s The Banzhaf Power Index rate is 88.31%,only second to chemistry among the four re-selected subjects.If students choose biology,he or she can apply for more professional colleges and universities,which enables students to have more chances.Finally,this research analyses students’ strategy choice by constructing by constructing subject selection Game Matrix.Acording to Game Matrix,students who select biology can benefit a lot if their average score is 5 in cognition dimention and emotion-metacognition,which is Nash equilibrium.Senior high school students can find related benefits in the Game Matrix according to their “learning to learn” ability,which is a good way to evaluate their abilty and find out whether they are suitable for biology or not.Thus,the research of how students make strategic choices based on the perspective of Game Theory and their “learning to learn” ability is novel and has huge practical significance.
