Computational thinking is considered to be an ability that every student should have in today's information era.The US government has launched an education to cultivate students' computational thinking, requiring implementing from children. Our country listed computational thinking as one of the core literacy of the subject in the 2017 edition of the "New Curriculum Standards for Information Technology in High Schools",which shows that computational thinking education should also be integrated into the daily teaching of primary and secondary schools.Educators at home and abroad are constantly exploring ways of cultivating students' computational thinking, but they are still at the preliminary stage of exploration and lack specific teaching examples. As a high-level teaching mode,project-based teaching can not only improve students' information technology ability, but also improve their problem-solving skill.Based on this, this article explores the use of project-based teaching to cultivate students' computational thinking, and provides a reference for the cultivation of students' computational thinking.First of all, this article compiles a computational thinking scale based on the computational thinking scale developed by Korkmaz and Chen Xingzhi, combined with the concepts and characteristics of computational thinking, and investigates and analyzes the status quo of junior middle school students' computational thinking level through the compiled computational thinking scale.Secondly, relying on junior middle school information technology courses, teaching engineering theory, cohesion theory and Piaget's cognitive development stage theory as the theoretical basis, aiming to improve the computational thinking of junior middle school students, combined with the general mode of project-based teaching,The related research on computational thinking and the status quo of computational thinking of junior middle school students has constructed a project-based teaching model for information technology courses based on computational thinking training. This model includes five processes: presenting projects, exploring new knowledge, and formulating project plans and programs,Project implementation and project evaluation, each process reflects the cultivation of junior middle school students' computational thinking. Finally, the model was applied to the content of the information technology course in the first year of junior middle school, and several projects such as "smart password door","crossroad traffic lights","special flavor","our logo","beautiful scenery" and so on were designed, and The design is applied to practice to carry out teaching research. The study selects classes(3)and(4)of Ganzhou A Middle School for teaching practice, conducts teaching research, collects data through project work evaluation forms and computational thinking scales, and then analyzes the data to verify the basis The training situation of the project-based teaching model of information technology courses for the cultivation of computational thinking. After data analysis, research conclusions are drawn: 1)The project-based teaching model of information technology courses based on computational thinking training can improve the level of various dimensions of computational thinking.2)Project-based teaching mode can improve classroom teaching effects. In general, the project-based teaching model of information technology courses based on computational thinking training can improve students' ability to use information technology to solve problems.
