Research On The Cultivation Of University Students Charity Consciousness

As a kind of moral and cultural phenomenon,the development level of charity reflects the civilization degree of the society and the moral quality of the nation.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi has attached great importance to the development of charity,and put forward requirements for further strengthening and improving charity work.The development of charity can not do without the support of philanthropy awareness.Strengthening the cultivation of College Students’ philanthropy consciousness is not only the need of inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese virtues,but also the need of carrying forward and practicing the socialist core values and building a socialist harmonious society.At the same time,the abundant charitable thoughts contained in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the constant optimization of the policy environment of the charitable rule of law in our country,and the past charitable practice of college students have also laid the foundation and provided the feasibility for the cultivation of the charitable consciousness.This paper,by means of theoretical research and empirical analysis,expounds the related concepts and basic principles of the cultivation of college students’ charity awareness,and conducts a questionnaire survey among some college students,it is found that there are some problems in the aspect of philanthropy awareness,such as the level of charity cognition needs to be improved,the recognition of charity emotion is not strong,and the intention of charity behavior is not enough.Further analysis revealed that,the main causes of these problems lie in the lack of consciousness of cultivating philanthropy awareness of college students,the serious lag of cultivating philanthropy awareness of family to children,the need to strengthen the cultivation of philanthropy awareness of college students and the insufficient atmosphere of cultivating philanthropy awareness of society.In the light of the problems and causes of college students’ philanthropy awareness,we can strengthen the cultivation of college students’ philanthropy awareness from four aspects:First,to promote the subjectivity of college students’ philanthropy awareness self-cultivation;The second is to attach importance to the basic position of the family in the cultivation of philanthropy awareness,the third is to strengthen the construction of the main position of the university in the cultivation of philanthropy awareness,and the fourth is to give full play to the role of the government in the cultivation of philanthropy awareness Fifth,the positive role of social power in the cultivation of philanthropy awareness.Through the joint efforts of college students themselves,their families,universities,the government and the society,we can explore the effective ways to cultivate college students’ charity awareness and improve their charity awareness.
