Patriotism is the most basic and lasting spiritual banner that unites a country and its people,and is the great spiritual force that drives the social history forward.As the builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics,college students in the new era bear the great responsibility of reviving the Chinese nation.Strengthening patriotic education of college students is the objective need and practical requirement of socialist construction in the new era.Through the education of "Four Histories",students can understand more deeply how the Party led the people to revive the Chinese nation step by step during the revolution,construction and reform,and learn from history,grasp the laws of history and improve historical thinking,so as to encourage students to be firm in patriotic ideals and beliefs and take up the important responsibility of the country.It can encourage college students to strengthen their patriotic ideals and take up the important responsibilities of the country.However,in the actual teaching of universities,the effectiveness of "Four Histories"education is still insufficient,mainly because the teaching method is too empty to read the theory of "Four Histories" and ignore the realistic teaching of patriotism,and the teaching method can only analyze micro-history one-sidedly due to the uneven level of teachers and the lack of professional knowledge background."The teachers' level is uneven and they lack professional knowledge background.The main reasons for the effectiveness of patriotism education are the college teachers have limited awareness of the "four histories" and college students lack active learning of the "four histories" the lack of a large political vision and the impact of the network public opinion environment.Secondly,the teaching of "Four Histories"of patriotic education for college students in the new era should be fully considered from the first classroom campus culture to explore the invisible educational resources,and finally focus on combining theory with practice,from the practical classroom,if the eyes on the social environment.In order to enhance the attractiveness and infectivity of patriotism teaching for college students.
