Research On The Relationship Between Perceived Justice,community Trust And Environmental Responsibility Behavior Of Residents In Tourist Destination

The booming tourism industry has brought rich returns to tourist destinations,but it has also brought negative environmental degradation to the ecological environment of tourist destinations,making environmental protection issues a hot spot of social concern.Among them,the environmental responsibility behavior reflecting the individual's conscious attention to the ecology and active protection of the environment has attracted the attention of the tourism academic circle.Encouraging individuals to implement environmentally responsible behaviors is one of the important measures to improve the ecological environment of tourist destinations.However,in the past,scholars paid high attention to the environmental responsibility behavior of tourists,but the research on the environmental responsibility behavior of residents in tourist destinations was insufficient.From the perspective of interest-relatedness,local residents,as actual participants in the development of tourist destinations,have a close relationship between their production and life and tourist destinations,and their impact on the environment is profound and lasting.Therefore,studying the environmental responsibility behavior of residents in tourist destinations is of great significance for improving the theory of environmental responsibility behavior related to tourism and promoting the ecological environment protection of tourist destinations.On the other hand,environmental responsibility behavior also has the general characteristics of "behavior",that is,psychology believes that behavior is induced by psychology.Exploring the inducing factors and formation mechanism of environmental responsibility behavior is the primary key to encouraging individuals to implement environmental responsibility behavior.For the residents of tourist destinations,the psychological state formed by the cognition and emotion in the production and life of the community may be an important factor to influence their environmental responsibility behavior.Based on this,this study chooses the Fenghuang ancient city as the case site,because the Fenghuang ancient city is a place where the living community and tourist attractions are integrated,and the local residents are investigated to explore the formation mechanism of the environmental responsibility behavior of the residents in the tourist destination.Based on “cognition-affection-intention” theory and social exchange theory,this paper puts forward the research hypothesis that the perceived Justice,community trust and place identity of residents in tourist destinations positively influence environmental responsibility behavior.Through field research,questionnaires,sample data collection,and structural equation model testing methods,the effects of residents' perceived justice,community trust and place identity on residents' environmental responsibility behaviors are confirmed,so as to filled and perfected the academic results of the research on environmental responsibility behaviors of residents in tourist destinations.The research results show that residents' perceptions of distributive justice,procedural justice and interpersonal justice all affect community trust,which in turn affects residents' environmental responsibility behavior.The research results support the effectiveness of the “cognition-affectionintention” theory in explaining the environmental responsibility behaviors of residents in tourist destinations.As an emotional expression,place identity plays a positive role in the influence path of perceived justice on community trust.In addition,the household income level of residents and the degree of relevance between family income and tourism have interfered with the formation of residents' environmental responsibility behaviors.Under different family income levels and tourism relevance levels,residents show different affections and behavioral differences.Based on the research conclusions,the following enlightenment suggestions are put forward:(1)From the aspects of industrial development and benefit distribution,the residents of tourist destination communities shall be given equal sharing rights,satisfy the residents' material interests,and stimulate the residents' enthusiasm to implement environmental responsibility behaviors;(2)From the aspects of subject rights and organizational norms,the residents of tourist destination communities are given equal rights to participate,to ensure the residents' rights to participate in and discuss politics,and to build an organization and management system for cooperation and consultation;(3)Improve the environmental protection consciousness of residents in tourist destination communities from the two aspects of policy restriction and interpersonal relationship construction,and establish the residents' consciousness of implementing environmental responsibility behaviors under the dual constraints of internal community policy restrictions and fair interpersonal relations.
