Place attachment is very important part in tourism geography and environmental psychology abroad. Application of place attachment in tourism is conducive to reflect the needs of people, diversity of attitudes and values, the value of implementation of the comprehensive utilization of resources, enhance the tourism's social and cultural connotations. But up to now, in the tourism planning and development of operation and management, people consider more facts in the physical environment and the recreation facilities, less in the place attachment between the tourists and recreation sites. Therefore, it often results in tourist destination less "the milk of human kindness" and social and cultural connotations diluted. There is a common problem in the tourism development in the contemporary era, which is lack of quality of place and humane care. The place attachment how to be applied to the tourism planning, and the operation and management, will be a new issue in the future tourism.So, this study takes Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen, Beijing city as an example. Accoding to the two dimensionalities of the place attachment, which is the place identity and the place dependence, the paper studies the tourists'behaviors of the place attachment in Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen, by questionnaires, using relevant statistical software and mathematical analysis. And at last the paper puts forward ideas to Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen, which is place-making, the approach revealing and quality of place, and differentiation manage strategy. So that it can enhance the tourism more scientific and improve the level of the operation and management of Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen, Beijing city in the future.The final results showed that the place attachment of the tourists in Dashilan block commercial in Qianmen is on the middle grade.In the aspect of the place attachment, there is a significant difference among the tourists'demographic characteristics, behavior characteristics and the tourist destination. There are four facts of influence in the degree of the place attachment, which is emotion identification, a sense of belonging, condition and cultural dependence. In the light of the level of the place attachment, the tourists can be divided into four types, who are "low-attachment tourist", "common-attachment tourist", "ambivalent-attachment tourist", "super-attachment tourist".The "low-attachment tourist" generally is the staff at the basic level, who is the low-literacy, low profession and low-income grassroots group. They know nothing about Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen, stay a short time there, and their largest motive is amusement and recreation. Their character of the place attachment is low-identy and low-dependence.The "common-attachment tourist" almost is the high-literacy. They are mainly engaged in the students, staff, civil servants and other professional. Such groups can find out something about the sightseeing place, and stay within half a day. They travel here for the China's time-honored brand, Beijing traditional culture and food, and so on. And their character of the place attachment is common-identy and common-dependence.The characteristics of the "ambivalent-attachment tourist" are obvious. They are mostly higher-literacy, more and broad-occupation structure of immigrants and often better than average incomes of others. This kind of tourists knows less about the sightseeing district, basically follow the travel agency, stay a short time as the tourist party. They are also interested in the China's time-honored brand, Beijing traditional culture and food etc. And their character of the place attachment is high-identy and common-dependence.The characteristics of the "super-attachment tourisf"are clear. They are mostly from Beijing or around Beijing, such as Tianjin, Hubei, and so on. The tourists with middle-aged and aged are higher-literacy, have limited occupation structure of immigrants, which are mainly composed by the retiree, professionals& technical and vivilian.This people are familiar with the recreation site very much, stay a long time. They travel here for the China's time-honored brand and their old childhood memories. And their character of the place attachment is high-identy and high-dependence.In the end, this paper proposes the way of place-making, which provides the tourists with more meaningful environment and functional space to enhance their sense of place, based on maintaining and strengthening the quality of place. Meanwhile, it still introduces the rule of the approach revealing the quality of place, which is "One-Two-Three-Four-Five-Six". Next, in connection with the different types of tourists, the paper makes out the differentiation manage strategy, which is to train the place attachment of the "low-attachment tourist", to strengthen the place attachment of the "common-attachment tourist", to improve the place attachment of the "ambivalent-attachment tourist", to remain the place attachment of the "super-attachment tourist". After that, this paper proposes some advice for tourism industry of Dashilan commercial block in Qianmen.
