Research On Internet Public Opinion Reverse Reporting From The Perspective Of Frame Theory

Based on the framework theory,this paper selects the typical public opinion reversal event in the official account of the people’s daily,Chongqing bus falling into the river as a case study to explore the existing public opinion reversal phenomenon and how the media reports on the reversal of public opinion events,and whether it can guide the attitude of netizens through the reports of the media.How does the media report the public opinion? according to the report of the peoples daily.The case is based on the report of the public opinion in the We Chat public.In recent years,the phenomenon of public opinion reversal accompanied by many hot events has become an important entry point for us to understand the news communication environment in the new media era,which has attracted the attention and interest of many researchers.In order to better explore how the reversal of public opinion is realized and how it relates to the development process of the event itself,this paper selects the We Chat public number of the people’s daily as the data collection platform,selects typi "al cases of public opinion reversal,and adopts the framework analysis method to report all the reports of official account of the Chongqing public transport in the We Chat official account of the people’s daily.Frame analysis.This paper first defines the concept of network public opinion reversal and summarizes its characteristics.Then,the " Chongqing bus falling " incident in the We Chat official account of the people’s daily was empirically studied.All samples were categorized according to the four stages of public opinion,and the framework was defined as the framework of problem definition,causal interpretation framework,moral judgment framework and countermeasures and suggestions.Through the research,we found that the number of causal interpretation framework and moral judgment framework is the largest,which is consistent with the moral responsibility of people’s daily as the mainstream media and the party media.In addition,the media coverage and the tendency of netizens comment on the " Chongqing Wanzhou bus falling incident in the framework of the official account of the peoples daily We Chat public are analyzed.In the event of public opinion reversal,the attitude of netizens often appears to be one-sided.With the integrity of factual information,the attitude of netizens turns to the other side,lacking neutral and objective attitude.Then,through the research on how frame effect plays a role in the three stages of public opinion,this paper explores the mechanism of frame effect in each stage.When the media report the same event,they will adjust the news framework according to different stages.News presented through different news frameworks may have different focuses,but they must be objective and true,which is very important in the reversal of public opinion.Through the analysis,this paper concludes that the news framework used by mainstream media in reporting the event of Internet public opinion reversal is mostly causal explanation and moral judgment framework.This is because the mainstream media not only have the task of information disclosure,but also shoulder the task of public opinion guidance.Objective,true and rational reports are used to guide the audience to a rational attitude.The occurrence of public opinion reversal events is mainly due to the lack of professionalism of the source subject,or the infinite pursuit of timeliness,giving up the link of fact verification.And can cause public opinion events,is often closely related to public life,the public’s most concerned topic.Through the analysis of public opinion reversal,the enlightenment is from many aspects.First of all,the news media must play its own role,the audience should adopt a rational attitude to see news events,and the management of social platform is indispensable.Only with the cooperation of many parties can the Internet environment develop healthily,with less rumors and social anxiety.
