Study On The Government Supervision Of "Campus Loan" In Chongqing Universities

As a derivative product of internet finance,"Campus Loan" has developed rapidly in just a few years because of its low lending standards,easy operation and the capital needs meeting of college students such as entrepreneurship,daily study and life consumption.However,due to the government's insufficient supervision of "Campus Loan",it causes a variety of negative problems,such as violent debt collection.Therefore,it is imminent for the government to strengthen the supervision of"Campus Loan".This paper analyzed the current situation of "Campus Loan" in Chongqing universities and government supervision by using public governance theory and other relevant theories.The study concluded that Chongqing government had some problems in the supervision of"Campus Loan",such as insufficient basis,inadequate measures,lack of cooperation among various supervision bodies,imperfect auxiliary supervision,lack of channels for resolving disputes on "Campus Loan",and insufficient legal education.With problem-oriented and combining with the reality,drew lessons from domestic and foreign government regulation measures of"Campus Loan",then put forward a series of suggestions,including the improvement of laws and regulations and supervision measures,the integration of the responsibilities of each regulatory body,the combination of government supervision and self-regulatory supervision,the improvement of the accountability investigation and dispute resolution mechanism,and the establishment of a long-term management mechanism for the publicity and education of the rule of law in colleges and universities.This paper put forward some suggestions to solve the government supervision of "Campus Loan",and it can promote the construction of harmonious and orderly campus order.
