The universities infrastructure management is not just a process management of one project, but also a science and systems engineering, while the process controlling is the core of construction projects. Since the college has increased its enrollment, the universities constructed its infrastructure by leaps and bounds. Many problems have been brought in, and the most serious one was lots of hidden quality dangers. Through the several decades work of practice, the author accumulated some ways, means, and methods of constructive project process controlling, with the hope of that the constructive project managers can draw lessons from them.In this paper, firstly, the author analyzed the status of the project management in shanxi universities, and then pointed out seven important problems in process controlling of the universities infrastructure management. They are the influence of external factors, finance issues, financial management, construction projects internal control issues, project organization management issues, '8.31' project issues and incorruptibility issues. With the construction project management practice, the author gave some corresponding measures to solve the issues.In this paper, the author took the New Campus' construction of Shanxi Normal University(the Changan Campus) for a example to explore and study the quality control, schedule control, investment control in the constructive process, and then the author analyzed the emerging issues in project process control, the methods taken to deal with them and the experience and lessons. The study may provide a reference for other colleges and universities in the new campus construction project management. |
