Model education plays an important role in ideological and political education in colleges and universities.A good example is a good guide,a good model,and a good persuasion.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that "attention should be paid to summarizing typical models in the activities,and to play a demonstrative role in time." As the key target of ideological and political education,college students,with the help of role models to demonstrate and guide them,is of great significance to promote the healthy growth of college students’ body and mind.From the perspective of self-media,the impact of diversified content,the influence of disorderly environment and the flood of diversified forms have caused certain changes in the thinking paradigm,values and self-cognition of college students.The continuous development of self-media platforms has brought both opportunities and challenges to the role model education of college students,from the perspective of self-media,role models appear in role model education for college students.Insufficient integration of educational media and self-media,lack of media literacy of educational subjects,insufficient linkage of the trinity of family,school,and social model education.Therefore,in order to further strengthen the research on the theory of role model education for college students,based on the investigation of the status quo of role model education for college students under the perspective of self-media,this article provides powerful countermeasures for how to effectively use self-media education media to promote role model education for college students.Based on the existing results,first analyzes the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations of role model education for college students from the perspective of self-media,and then sorts out the development of role model education for college students in the pre-wemedia era.Experience and enlightenment,once again through the form of questionnaire survey,explore the status quo of role model education for college students from the perspective of self-media,deeply analyze the problems and the reasons behind them,and finally put forward specific countermeasures to the problems.The full text is divided into five parts.The first part: Introduction,mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,the research status,the research ideas,methods and innovations.The second part: the analysis of related concepts and the explanation of the theoretical basis.It mainly focuses on the related concepts of university student role model education and self-media,and uses Marxist related theories,Xi Jinping’s important expositions on role model education,and Bandura’s observational learning theory.And Internet group communication theory provides theoretical support for support.The third part: the development experience and enlightenment of the role model education of college students in the pre-media era,mainly expounds the development process of role model education in the socialist revolution and construction period,the Cultural Revolution period,and the new period of reform and opening up.The fourth part: analysis of the status quo of role model education of college students from the perspective of self-media.This part is the focus of discussion.It conducts an empirical investigation on the role model education of college students through questionnaire surveys,mainly centering on "the choice of role models" and "self-media’s role models for college students.Questions were designed in the four dimensions of “the influence of the form and way of education”,“the influence of self-media on the recognition of college students’ role models”,and the “degree of practice of college students’ role model education from the perspective of self-media”.In-depth analysis of the status quo,exploring the existing problems in the role model education of college students from the perspective of self-media and analyzing the reasons.Part V: Countermeasures to strengthen the role model education of college students from the perspective of self-media.This part combines the problems of role model education of college students under the perspective of self-media in the questionnaire and the multiple causes of the problems,and strengthens the construction of self-media to optimize the role model education of college students The environment,highlight the main channels of classroom teaching to enhance the appeal of role model education,promote the construction of campus self-media culture to create a good role model education position,and the establishment of a role model education guarantee mechanism to propose corresponding improvements and countermeasures to enhance the role model education of college students.
