A Case Of Satir Family Therapy Model Involving Female Community Correction

Accompanied by profound changes in China,the family has undergone profound changes in the structure,function,concept,etc.As major members of a family,females play an important role in boosting family harmony and happiness,and social stability.Though the number of female crimes is,on the whole,smaller than the number of male crimes,the significant upward trend of female crimes,which is resulted from the improvement of females,economic and political position and expansion of females social participation,cannot be ignored.Comparatively,female community correction differ from male counterparts in terms of psychology and physiology.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important for social workers to adopt job services to meet the diversified needs of Chinese families for professional family services.Family therapy puts individual problems into the whole family system to solve,and focuses on the adjustment of the interaction between family members and the establishment of a benign communication mode to open up a new perspective for solving family problems,so as to promote the social integration of community correction personnel.The research data were collected through literature,interviews and cases,mainly used Satir family therapy mode to carry out individual intervention service for female community correction objects,focused on the treatment process and the treatment of the resistance encountered in the treatment,and finally reached a conclusion through feedback and evaluation of the effect.Using Satir family therapy theory to carry out social work to intervene in the community correction of female social correction objects can better pay attention to their gender characteristics and special needs.Focusing on the process of change,it can well help individuals to clarify the shaping and influence of the growing environment,constantly reflect and learn in five different family communication modes,and help individuals to understand themselves and achieve growth and change.It is in line with the emphasis on"family values and education"in Chinese culture to some extent.In the intervention service of this case,reflections on the case study integrates the concept of self-help and helping others into the whole process,the intervention plan should be immediately adjusted and adjustment of the intervention plan and theⁱⁱ professional qualities and abilities of social workers should be improved.It is hoped that research findings of this paper can provide references for social integration of female community correction.
