With the continuous progress of information technology,the competition of information industry becomes more and more fierce.In the new competitive environment,the original business model and management concept can not meet the development needs of the new information age,public libraries will face enormous challenges,and the disadvantages of the traditional model are increasingly prominent,the utilization rate of library resources is low,the rate of entering the library is decreasing year by year,the Fund is short,the equipment is old,the problem of the librarian supporting the aged is becoming more and more serious.Therefore,in the prosperity and development of the Internet era,public libraries should introduce new brand marketing concepts,into the library work and services,as an indispensable and irreplaceable public information service places.In order to meet the new market environment and the needs of users,it is necessary for public libraries to carry out brand marketing strategy research.Starting from the summary,this paper summarizes the research status of the brand marketing of public libraries at home and abroad and the related theories of the brand marketing,through analyzing the macro-environment,micro-environment and industry environment of public libraries,taking Foshan Library as an example,this paper analyzes the brand marketing environment of public libraries,summarizes the problems and causes of the brand marketing of libraries through the development of the brand marketing of libraries,and finally,according to the development of library brand marketing and the environment of brand marketing,this paper puts forward the strategy of brand marketing combination suitable for public library based on 7Ps theory,and applies the theory to practice.
