As the battlefield environment becomes more complex, information acquisition has become the key to winning the modern warfare.Radar has a very important strategic position, which can obtain the enemy targets' information. The actual radar measurements are obtained in the Direction Cosine coordinates.Based on the measurement conversion methods, this thesis focuses on the nonlinear filtering algorithms with the Direction Cosine nonlinear measurements. The specific contents are as follows:1.The traditional nonlinear filtering algorithms extended Kalman filter(EKF)and unscented Kalman filter(UKF)are expounded first, the measurement conversion methods are studied next, including CMKF and DCMKF.Aiming at the problem of biased state estimation caused by measurements and measurement errors' statistical characteristics in the DCMKF,a decorrelated debiased converted measurement Kalman filter(DDCMKF)is proposed.Based on the above algorithm, the measurement conversion methods and the IMM structure are combined to realize the maneuvering target tracking in the Direction Cosine coordinates.2.For target tracking with additional range rate measurement, based on the DDCMKF and Direction Cosine measurements, the sequential filtering(DDCMKF-SQ)and the DDCMKF with pseudo-linear measurement matrix(DDCMKF-R)are derived. To obtain a more accurate linear measurement matrix, the position filtering estimation results in the sequential framework are utilized and a sequential linear filtering with adaptive information feedback(ASLF)is proposed.Further, the combination of ASLF algorithm and Interacting Multiple Model(IMM)structure is studied, and the ASLF-IMM algorithm is given.3.Aiming at the application of the above algorithms in radar resource management, the phased array radar and radar network resource management based on ASLF-IMM are studied respectively.By adaptively selecting the working parameters of the system during the target tracking, including sampling period, transmitting power, duty cycle and dwell time, the time and energy resource consumption of the system are minimized under the condition of ensuring the desired target tracking accuracy.
