Because 60 GHz millimeter wave has unique advantages in confidentiality,anti-interference and transmission rate,the research on 60 GHz millimeter wave technology at home and abroad has not decreased for decades.As early as more than ten years ago,60 Ghz millimeter wave technology has formed several relatively mature technical standards in the world,and gradually expanded from military field to civilian and commercial field.So far,based on these technical standards,60 GHz millimeter wave products have been relatively mature in all aspects of development.As the background of the project focuses on the confidentiality,anti-interference and real-time communication process,and is based on the communication environment of indoor short-distance transmission,the 60 GHz millimeter wave technology is very suitable for indoor short-distance transmission due to its relatively large path loss and oxygen absorption.Therefore,the research of 60 GHz millimeter wave technology is carried out in this topic.According to the project performance index,the research and parameter design of indoor short-range millimeter wave wireless communication system are carried out.This thesis first compares and analyzes the current mainstream 60 GHz technology standard and the research status of this technology in engineering application at home and abroad.According to the actual project cost and implementation difficulty,the heterodyne front-end system architecture of low order modulation mode and secondary frequency conversion is selected.The system parameters of millimeter wave communication system are designed and simulated under the environment and parameter reference of IEEE 802.11 ad standard.Parameter design are given in core processes,and every step of the process corresponding to the work,based on the design process,the project under the environment of communication environment link budget analysis model is established,receiver input SNR is deduced formula for the core,according to the formula of the transmitter output power of main parameters for the design;Then the main parameters such as the sensitivity of the receiver are designed according to the calculation formula of the receiver sensitivity.Then ADS software was used to build a real-time simulation link of 60 GHz millimeter wave,and the system parameters are modified and verified.After the system parameters are assigned to each module of the system,the 60 GHz MMW behavioral level simulation link was built by ADS to simulate and verify the system function module parameters.During the second half of the thesis is mainly based on the parameter design of the first half of the chip selection,and then set the millimeter wave(MMW)wireless communication system,the indoor experiments have been carried out to test 20 meters within the transmission distance,Experimental results show that after the forward error correction coding,the furthest transmission distance of the system is 19 meters,and the communication bit error rate is less than,which meets the performance requirements.
