In modern society,radar is widely used,and for people,the most important function of radar is target detection and detection,Among them,FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave)radar has the advantages of low requirements for transmitting power,strong anti-jamming ability,simple implementation of supporting related equipment and so on.However,the traditional FMCW radar detection system has low reusability,which severely limits the application scope of target detection detection.For example,the existing FMCW radar detection system often integrates the RF front-end part and signal processing part directly on the radar,which can facilitate target detection and detection in a specific environment.However,when the system fails,it is difficult to locate the fault location,which greatly reduces the reusability and convenience of the detection system.And the whole system needs to be disassembled during maintenance,resulting in great inconvenience.In this thesis,the design of radar detection system is different from that of radar detection system,so the design of radar detection system can be further separated from that of radar detection system.Aiming at the 3.2GHz FMCW radar,this thesis studies the related technologies of the overall detection system.The main contents are as follows:(1)The front-end RF part of the detection system is designed,and the programmable and highly integrated RF front-end is realized through the AD9914 chip used in the signal source part.The RF front-end part is mainly divided into a signal source part,a mixing part and a receiving part.The most important signal source part adopts the AD9914 chip,which is designed as a digital programmable highly integrated and complete signal synthesizer.Because the mixing part also plays the role of transmitting,this part adopts HMC8200 chip in this thesis.In order to match with the transmitting part,the receiving part adopts HMC8100 chip which is homologous with HMC8200.(2)In the signal processing and detection part,in order to detect and display the target detection results more conveniently,a simple radar detection host computer software is designed,which can image the target parameters obtained after processing in real time.In addition,the correctness of the software design is determined by analyzing and simulating the transmitted,received and differential frequency signals.In signal processing,in order to reduce the error of test results,the selection of window function and CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate)technology are studied,and then applied.The simulation of MATLAB shows that these two technologies can greatly improve the accuracy of detection results.(3)The whole system is verified by the actual test of UAV detection and detection.The complete FMCW radar target detection detection system is installed on the radar vehicle,and the UAV is detected and imaged,and the relevant parameters in the detection image are compared with the experimental data to verify the effectiveness of the design.
