The outfield performance test of lidar is restricted by the site,time,weather and other factors,which makes the production of lidar difficult to meet the growing demand in many kinds of area.It is urgent to develop the indoor automatic performance test technology of lidar to improve the test accuracy and efficiency.Therefore,this paper puts forward a method which can simulate the outdoor environment and realize the full-automatic inspection of lidar performance,and carries out the design and experimental research of the full-automatic inspection system.On the basis of in-depth data research,this paper introduces the fiber delay link technology,combined with the laser echo simulation and LabVIEW virtual instrument control,gives the method of indoor simulation and outdoor field test environment,and the technical scheme of laser radar indoor automatic performance test system.In theory,the pulse stability model of optical pulse delay link is given,and the influence of parameters of transmitting module and receiving module on pulse stability is analyzed.It is calculated that the jitter of output delay pulse is about 70 picosecond under the condition of actual optical pulse delay link parameters,which can meet the use requirements.On this basis,the optical fiber delay link,laser echo simulation source,laser power test module,laser pointing test module,automatic control and data processing program based on LabVIEW are designed.In the experiment,the output pulse jitter of the optical pulse delay link is measured,and the result is(80±3)picosecond,which is basically consistent with the theoretical analysis result.In addition,the laser power test module,laser pointing test module,background light power and echo signal amplitude are calibrated,and the indoor automatic performance test system of lidar is debugged,which can quantitatively test the miss detection rate,range error and range standard deviation of lidar fixed-point ranging when the target distance is 50 m.On this basis,the function and stability of the lidar indoor automatic performance detection system are tested by using the standard prototype at different times and different ambient temperatures,which can meet the requirements of use.The research work of this paper has important reference value for the optimization design of optical fiber delay link and the development of laser radar indoor automatic performance detection system.
