Nowadays, by the development of society, technology become very important, especially in manufacture; lot's of people feel surprise because components in electronic products are very small which we can't look at by eyes. So AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) comes forth, it can accurately inspect the small components. Inspecting Keyboard and label in Notebook is an application of AOI. Therefore, research department of Foxconn start to research algorithm of In Inspecting Keyboard and label in Notebook.The paper designs a character recognition algorithm for Keyboard Inspecting in Notebook, nowadays, the algorithm for label Inspecting in Notebook can't success, doing in experiment. The paper advances a character recognition algorithm by double comparing. First, comparing image by superpose barycenter. Second. Comparing character features. Then unite the two results, the algorithm just like this. The steps of Inspect are below. Firstly. Character image processing. Secondly, pick up all features which have being designed. Thirdly, compare all features and weight all results, then compute the final result. Also, the paper advances a study and recheck algorithm which id based on statistics, enhance the precision of character inspecting.Character recognition algorithm is based on hardware of AOI. Basically, by lot's of experiment, most of exception are Resolved. Nowadays, Character recognition algorithm is used for manufacture. In produce, the effect of inspect keyboard of notebook is fine, satisfy the produce department.
