As an important part of China's socialist advanced culture,red culture contains rich political,economic,cultural and social values.Internet technology,new media environment and domestic audiences' love for red culture provide soil and power for the development of red culture IP,so how should red culture IP seize this opportunity to better realize the maximum excavation of IP value and win the best communication effectiveness?The research on the cross-media storytelling of red culture stories in the world can provide new ideas for the development of red culture IP in the new media environment.With the innovation of the inheritance mode of red culture,it can enhance the influence and appeal of red culture in the younger generation and even the whole nation and country,while excavating inestimable economic benefits.This study adopts the method of case study and text analysis,and focuses on the difficulties and breakthroughs in the cross-media storytelling of red cultural stories based on cross-media storytelling thinking.It is found that the current IP development of red culture is faced with practical difficulties such as the same external forms of expression,the use of media channels in their own way,and the one-way communication mode,which leads to a series of problems such as aesthetic fatigue,difficulty in immersion and weak desire for consumption of the audience.Accordingly,on the basis of demonstrating the feasibility of cross-media storytelling operation of red IP,this paper creatively designs a cross-media building model of red story world from three aspects: map,text and media,that is,first,we should use mind map and story map to plan the layout of red IP cross-media storytelling operation,and secondly,we should construct red IP text in the way of popular IP and story flow.Finally,it is necessary to construct the relationship between media diversity and cooperative operation to carry the red story world.This study is mainly composed of five parts.The introduction part combs the related theories such as cross-media storytelling,story world and red culture,and clarifies the current research situation at home and abroad.The first chapter synthesizes history,ideological and political education,communication and other disciplines,expounds the development value,current situation and predicament of Red IP.The second chapter discusses the actual effect of cross-media storytelling operation at home and abroad,as well as the advantages and maneuverability of cross-media operation of red IP in China,and puts forward that the cross-media storytelling operation of red IP is one of the feasible ways to break through the current dilemma of red IP development.The third chapter comprehensively uses the cross-media storytelling theory and some typical case experiences at home and abroad to explore the cross-media building model of the red story world in order to guide the cross-media operation of the red IP in the future.The fourth part comprehensively uses the cross-media storytelling theory and typical cases to explore the cross-media building model of the red cultural story world based on the successful experience of the cross-media storytelling operation of the IP of The Battle of Chosin Lake,so as to guide the cross-media operation of the red IP in the future.
