At present,many international infrared scene simulation software uses infrared ray tracing algorithm to render infrared scene,but rarely uses another realistic rendering technology: radiosity.The radiosity algorithm can simulate the diffuse reflection effect of energy mutual radiation transfer better,and can reflect the physical transfer law of energy than ray tracing method on a large scale.Therefore,this paper attempts to study the infrared scene realistic rendering algorithm based on radiosity method and Open GL,which provides a new technical way for infrared imaging simulation.The main work of this paper is described as follows:1.This paper independently designed and carry out an architecture of infrared radiosity method based on Open GL,which provides a new technical method for infrared imaging realistic simulation.2.According to the characteristics of infrared scene radiation,the infrared material thermal database is established to quantitatively realize the calculation models of scene background radiation,atmospheric transmission effect and Infrared self-radiation,which lays a solid physical foundation for the realization of infrared radiosity method.3.On this basis,an infrared scene rendering system based on infrared radiosity method is built to draw the infrared images of multiple ground target scenes.In order to verify the reliability of the simulation model,the infrared simulation image is compared with the real image by using the principle of gray histogram Babbitt distance similarity.Experiments show that the similarity between the infrared radiosity rendering model and the real infrared image is improved compared with the traditional infrared Blinn-Phong rendering model,which shows the application potential of the new infrared radiosity rendering model.
