Superconducting coplanar waveguide resonators are widely used in quantum computing, quantum storage, photon detection and other related fields due to their high Q factor and low loss characteristics.Subsequently, people began to use superconducting coplanar waveguide resonators to realize electromagnetically induced transparency in microwave band, which provides a new direction for the research of microwave quantum storage. In this paper, the phenomenon of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)in microwave transmission characteristics of coupled quarter wavelength coplanar waveguide resonators is studied. The specific work is as follows: firstly, the research background and applications of superconducting coplanar waveguide resonators in recent years are summarized, and then the research status of electromagnetically induced transparency, electromagnetically induced transparency like and electromagnetically induced transparency like using superconducting resonators are introduced. Then the electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)phenomenon in the microwave transmission characteristics of the system is studied by using the real space quantum transport theory,A transparent window appears near the original resonant frequency of the microwave transmission spectrum, and the width of the transparent window increases with the increase of the coupling strength; Then the slow light effect in the transparent window is studied,it is found that the group velocity of microwave transmission in this region will change with the coupling strength between the two resonators, and the maximum group velocity delay of 2.69) can be achieved in this region when the coupling strength is small. Finally,in the experiment, the coupled quarter wavelength CPW resonator is designed by using the simulation software sonnet, and the corresponding resonator samples are prepared by using the laboratory micromachining platform. The microwave transmission characteristics of the resonator samples are measured in the extremely low temperature environment, and the transparent window is observed in the experimental results of the coupled resonator.
