The research of ultra-wideband antennas is a major topic in antenna research.The ultra-wideband antenna that can be used in the ultra-wideband system should meet the characteristics of covering the ultra-wideband frequency band,stable gain,and omnidirectional radiation direction.In terms of satellite communications,mobile base stations,etc.,ultra-wideband antennas are also required to have low profile and miniaturization.At the same time,ultra-wideband antennas are also required to be flexible in terms of wearable design and integration with other devices.Therefore,this article mainly conducts the research and design of miniaturized,low-profile,and flexible ultra-wideband antenna.The specific research content is as follows:This paper first designed a compact flexible ultra-wideband printed antenna based on polyimide material.The antenna has a compact size of 42×39×0.01mm~3 and an ultra-wide bandwidth of 2.4-12GHz.It is slotted and cut.Improve the impedance matching of the antenna under bending conditions,and verify the flexibility of the antenna.Within the antenna coverage bandwidth,the antenna has a peak gain of 3.5-6 d Bi,with an average gain of more than 4 d Bi,and the antenna has good far-field radiation characteristics.In order to shield the wireless local area network(WLAN)frequency band that works in5.15-5.825 GHz,the antenna is improved by semicircular ring etching based on the flexible ultra-wideband antenna.The improved antenna still has an ultra-wideband of 2.4-12 GHz Wide and flexible characteristics,while shielding the wireless local area network(WLAN)frequency band,avoiding interference in this frequency band,the improved antenna has extremely low gain in the notch frequency band whitch has little influence on the gain in other working frequency bands of the antenna.Finally,a miniaturized ultra-wideband antenna was proposed.The antenna was fed by coaxial feeding,and the size of the antenna was reduced from 35×31.2×1mm~3 to 35×15.6×1mm~3 through symmetrical cutting.Optimize the parameters of the cut antenna structure to obtain the best antenna size.Simulation analysis shows that the antenna can cover the3-11GHz ultra-wideband bandwidth,the peak gain of the antenna is relatively stable,and the average gain is more than 4.5 d Bi.At the same time,the antenna has good far-field radiation characteristics,which is a good competitor for wireless communication equipment.
